Finals week....

mixed feelings this week. I am somewhere between "yay it's almost over!!" and "holy crap, I need to study!" There's also a little bit of (okay, a LOT of) remorse over the recent demise of my (new) car. And a little bit of "why does my brain work the way it does?" Case in point: I just finished a political science exam. I remembered that Tamil-Nadu is a state in India, off the coast of Sri Lanka, I remembered that Taiwan is also called Formosa, but some how, I forgot that the fourth of Asia's Four little dragons is Hong Kong. (incidentally, the other three are Taiwan, Singapore, and South Korea.) How does my brain do this????furthermore, how did I make it this far with my brain??

Anyway...the search is on to replace my beautiful car. it was a 98 mercury tracer, until someone pulled out in front of me, causeing me to swerve around them, lose control and traction, narrowly miss a street sign, and plunge backward up an embankment. I owned it a whole 5 days. Well, we shall see what I can find now. *sob*
