On a tangent.....

The whole federal act of legislating schools....In other words, No Child Left Behind Act...Is upsetting me to no end. There is something wrong with telling our youth "it doesn't matter how much effort you put in, you'll still graduate with your peers." Since when did society all get promoted at once? Since when has there been success for everyone regardless of effort? I sincerely hope this act is repealed by the time I earn my teaching degree.
